Sculpture
Sculpting in clay has given Susanna a new way to explore subjects first developed in earlier drawings and paintings.
Through the direct and powerful experience of working with clay through handbuilding, she has created a series of heads — human, animal, and in-between — inhabiting a territory that is formal, theatrical and humorous.
